  • Add brakes to the right side?

I am going for my light sport instructor rating to instruct in my Tcraft. I don't have brakes on the right side. How expensive is it to have brakes added to the right side? (337/STC?)

    Danny,

There is a factory made kit for right side brakes. I came by one years ago when I was going to start my 15 year old in the left side from my 1000 ft runway at home. Most Taylorcraft dual does not require right side brakes unless they operate runways as short as mine. In real time I never needed the right side brakes during all the dual I gave my son. The next time I have the floorboard up I will take pictures.
In the meantime check with Forest as he may have one. Also someone on this sight may have a lead on one.

I have the kit but am keeping it here for a moment; trying to get factory to come out with one. Got pulleys and pictures.
