  • Rigging Question

I've finally gotten my bird back after an annual that seemed to take forever -- new Airframe struts, replacing the fuel primer, re-pitching the prop, and overhauling the carb. Now it flies wanting to roll clockwise and yaw left (the yawing tendency was there before the strut replacement), and I have to cross control to keep it straight and level.

What is a good procedure to rig it properly?

    Re: Rigging Question

Did you set the washout to book specs? If so, then you can shorten and lengthen the rear struts to get it to fly straight. I usually do 1/2 turn to lengthen the side that climbs and shorten the other 1/2 turn if it still banks. I keep doing this until it flys fairly hands off. Tim
