slide windows in lexan seaplane doors

it gets a little toasty flyin in the summer in my T-cart, not much ventilation. (it seems like there is too much during the winter though) ive got up-opening lexan seaplane doors. anyone ever install a little sliding window into theirs?? our old blackhawk doors had little windows in the lexan, with lexan slides the window slide back/forth thru with lexan stops and handle. they did away with them before i could steal them. Why not just open them? They'll go up to the under side of the wing and be very happy there as long as you're flying.

Well I never heard of Lexan being used on the Hawks, We always used Acrylic, it does not cloud over and become brittle when fuel or gas or brake fluid or any other chemical gets on it, Lexan is bad for that...Tim

I studied that angle when I was building my seaplane doors. Went with a couple of those round "vista vents" instead. Easy to install. Have seen them mounted on the side of the boot cowl too.
