hey guys, Bob the interior man here... Back when Harry ripped me off, and a bunch of other employees too, I posted here telling all of you what all he did..... Most of the people here where supportive, because they knew what (In my opinion, legalese) a Rippoff Harry was... SOME of you immeidiatly went to bat, (Are you listening Mike Rice??), sticking up for ole Harry Boy!.. Now he has ripped off EVEN MORE of the taylorcraft community!.. I just cant see people sending in Money IN ADVANCE to Harry!!??? , but many of you did!.. Im just curious, the people that stuck up for Harry AND have now finally gotten ripped by him, What do you have to say for yourselfs NOW? Bob

some people are too nice and want to give the benefit of the doubt. I can understand that to some extent but there are times when you can smell a rat right off the bat.... and the instant I started hearing about Harry I smelt a rat! Harry could use a good pounding IMO

Would you please play nice. Some of these guys wasn't here to see the episode between you an Harry. As for the people who was here,heard stories, and decided to give him the benefit of the dought....I feel for them and everyone else that lost money. However,I think they are paying for it enough already and shouldn't need to comment or answer to a third party.Bob, I'm not trying to be rude or disrespectful but I don't think your comment, "what do you have to say for yourselves now", is going to help them feel any better. Please don't take my opinion as an insult,I just don't think it is the right comment at this time.

All, from my observation point ( no lost fortunes) when I found this tribe I was way pumped that "we" all had a common thread our old ships.Having anyone trying to manufacture and support parts was a little bit of heaven.
Speaking for myself I "wanted to belive" that there really really was a tooth fairy! We really needed for the owners of this corporation to be authentic and I think the personal loss encounterd by some was testament to the quality of the folks in this tribe (the majority) and their will to keep these aircraft up and passion for them.I've done things in good faith(like shipping parts to people I don't even know) and others loan tools etc.
When the dust clears lets not forget the true fabric of "Our tribe"and what it holds for us.

Well put Brad, as a recipient of the largess of this tribe I must speak out. We tend to be trusting beings. As an old book says "let him who has not been stupid be the first to admit it" or something like that! I all ready have equipment in my possession that I did not have to pay for till after the fact. Anyone who sent payments by mail and did not get the product in return should contact the Postal Inspection Service. They usually investigate fraud by mail reports. If enough people report the same person, the investigation goes quickley.

REALLY? WELL THAT IS HOW MY DEAL WENT DOWN, HOW DO YOU GET INTOUCH WITH THEM? I HAVE TRIED THRU MY U.S. CONGRESSMAN, THE FAA, THE TEXAS ATTORNEY GENERAL, AND THE CAMERON COUNTY DA'S OFFICE THE SHERRIFS OFFICE AND DIDN'T HAVE ANY TAKERS.

DID GET A 4 PAGE LETTER BACK THRU THE CONGRESSMAN THAT MADE ME LOOK LIKE A DUMB IDOT, OF WHICH I APPARENTLY AM, I FELL FOR THE
SCAM.

THE LETTER WAS FROM THE FAA, IN RESPONSE TO THE "SENATORS" RESQUEST WHICH WAS IN RESPONSE TO MY REQUEST THAT HE LOOK INTO
THE STRUT DEAL, AND SEE IF HE COULD GET TO THE BOTTOM OF JUST WHAT HAPPENED THERE. I AM STILL OF THE OPINION THAT HARRY AND CERTAIN MEMBERS OF THE FAA WERE INVOLVED IN PUSHING THAT STRUT A/D THRU FOR MONITARY GAINS, TOO MUCH WENT ON BEHIND THE SCENES
BEFORE IT EVER CAME OUT, NO VERY MUCH CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE, NO FAILURES, AND NO COMMENT SECTION. THEN THE FAA INSPECTOR INVOLVED LIED, AND COVERED HARRYS BUTT, DURING THE TIME FRAME OF OCT THRU THE TIME THAT HE RETIRED, WHY WOULD HE HAVE DOEN THAT? MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL, BUT THIS DID HAPPEN, REALLY IS SMELLY

Before anyone is going to conduct an investigation or file charges a victim will have to step forward and file a report. As this appears to be a problem throughout the U.S. you would have to try and contact an agency that is Federal. Just because you call a State's Attorneys Office does not mean they are going to jump at this. They need a police report, something to go on before they will file any charges against anyone. I could claim anyone on this site sold me something and it never got to me. Would you want to be charged with a crime based on just my statement? There has to be a concerted effort and documentation, usually compiled by a law enforcement agency, (Again, a Federal Agency), before anyone is going to look at it. The U.S. Attorney, I would assume, would then determine if this is truly a prosecutable case. It all depends upon the evidence presented. Just because someone claims someone else did something is not going to make the judicial system jump just because you pay taxes. You have to follow the rules and guidelines. I know there are some angry people here that sent money or have been a victim of someones greed. Just try and get a thread going here with all of the 'victims' identified and then compile any e-mails or paperwork, (cashed checks), indicating what was promised for what. Pick an articulate spokesman and contact the Federal Agency of your choosing. I'm not sure the U.S. Postal Service would be able to help, but I will contact an Inspector I know and run it past him.
