  • What is a Super T?

I was driving through Anchorage yesterday at Lake Hood and noticed a nice looking, what appeared to be Taylorcraft. It had 26" tires, all glass doors, nice paint. The N number was 90403, when I looked up the registration, it was called a Super T. Does anyone know anything about this airplane? Thanks Tim

Re: What is a Super T?

90403 is a real nice 'bush buggy'. I've looked at it often and the owner stopped by to scope out my F-19 last week. A "Super-T" is modified and registered Experimental with a 135hp or 150hp Lycoming Engine. As an old friend used to say "it's a going concern!". 90403 has the 135hp engine. The owner has a post somewhere on this site with pictures of the airplane during a successful moose hunting trip.
