oil filter adapter

Has anyone tried to get an F&M oil filter adapter approved for thier A-65 - O-200? I am looking at the one for the C-145 - O-300 series. Are the oil screens the same? Does anyone think it will fit between the firewall and the accy housing? Tim

tim from what i know the f&m filter fits just behind the number 2 cyl and for as small they go i know they make them for the o-200 because my dad want to put one on his 150

They dont work on a -8, the ports on the side of the case are blocked. That is why I am trying to get one to replace the oil screen. Tim

well i think i remmber coming across a remote mounted oil filter but it cost a lot of money
