    hey guys been a few months since i posted anything up here but anyway i have made my mind up and im just going for a sport pilot for now but im going to do it in a tcraft but i cant start just yet she is still down and well not till then and bills but i got a nice little job helping the guy who is now the owner of this little parts shop here at the airport who teaches the sport pilot so with in may be a few months ill be flyin soon

    oh ya the parts shop has a ton of old parts i think mostly a-65 and some c-85 or other but as soon as he lets me know what he wants to do with them ill let yall know

      will do but this job that i went to interview for they dont have weekends so if i get the job i dont know when i word have time for it

        Good luck Tim! I learned to fly in a '40 BL65 & would not trade that experience for anything. My first lessons were on ski's. You'll be a better pilot for it. Eric

          If you learn on Taildragger you can fly a C 150 with One Eye shut!
          Have fun!
          But NOT the other way around!
          Ps last time a flown a C 150 I forgot the flaps, I just side sliped in instead!
          I was to used to the T craft!(;f

            wow that will be nice if i can out fly my dad would be a site to see lol but im between jobs right now and still looking i never really thought that getting an a&p job here in houston would be so hard but i have hopes as i am going to try out at west houston airport and the big event is sunday there is a big helicopter expo in houston and its a job fair too i checked on the company listing for the event and just about every one of em is looking for an A&P so maybe just maybe this newbie can get in some where soon because i want to fly

                wow nice pic ya i really cant whait till they get the tcraft up and running
                but on the other hand i did get the job so i dont know what kind of time ill have to do the flying they told me things pick up in the summer months but i dont know now the hour are monday -friday 5am -330pm and then it gets going weekends are manditorry overtime so we will see what happends ill let yall know lol ill see about some pics for yall ill be out there tomarrow and when i do start my flying ill see about some vids too

                  update well i have a darn good job now and can make the money to go fly now i have 2 hours i can go fly so when ever the weather is good again im going to start my sport pilot but the down side my friend bob has tons of work to do and cant get to the ol tcart right now so im just going to start in the legend cub insted till the tcart is ready

                    I have mt Dad's log book and he did 55hrs of flying including his training in 30 minute flights so even a little evening time is do able.
