While helping my parents clean out some stuff, we ran across some old photos of the Taylorcraft Reunion at Barber Field, so I scanned them to the gallery for everyone. They are under my photo gallery: Ryannewell. they are from 1979-80, before I was around to attend! Hope everyone enjoys them.

      Re: Old Photos

Hey Ryan, thanks for the effort! Brought back some memories for me, seeing my Dads old ship, N44376. White with blue trim, BC12-D-1 "Ace" It is my understanding that it is now located in France. Also nice to see the factory snapshots. Imagine that, a real honest and good factory run by respectable folks!

Most of the pictures were at Forrest's place at the annual reunion. The factory photos are the Feris plant in Alliance.

David, where do you keep your plane being from Canton. Our Pacer is down at Beach City, the T-Craft is in my garage of course.

Ryan, the Butterfly Fun Lines is located at Minerva International. Head east from Beach City. We are always looking for new members. We have 4 T-crafts based at the field. PM me for more information.

Patty wants me to explain the tears in me eyes as I look at the stuff from Ryan Newell & Dave Whitaker; they grew up around the Fly-in here in Alliance since 1973, my kids too!! We have many. many photos of these reunions, perhaps the "kids" can take over some day Dave had to remind me the other day that he was the photographer for the F-19 brouchure , I was the photo ship pilot of Ken Luginbuhl out over the Berlin Reservoir. back to the game.

Scan0019 of Dorthy brought a tear too. Sure miss her (and a lot of the gang from those days). Not a lot of the old timers left.

                        Re: Old Photos

I have some more that I have to scan in from other years. Forrest is correct, some of my earliest memories, especially flying ones come from the fly-in. I especially remember the large T-craft flybys. Hopefully this summer we can get some more people back there. its a ton of fun, and for me being 26, its as close to a whole era of flying that I missed as I will ever get. People today look at me kind of strange when I tell them i have 10 minutes total time in nosewheels. N43754 plans to make its first appearance in 20 years in some sort of unfinished state. Also, Forrest my wife and I are planning to volunteer to help you out this summer.
