      Hank you have a great grasp on this situation. thank u
      Ed Fisher is a long time friend and very Excellent Designer, Mechanic and Pilot. He sums it up along with Hank.

      I try to remain a bit of neutrality, watching, moderating, learning, contributing, making phone calls, working with the FAA & NTSB .
      Those of you who have thought of law suits ; do it , but don't throw good money after bad!
      It is a mess, I have spent way too much time in the past trying to help.
      The light may be at the end of the tunnel.
      DICK Huish , about time for lunch again?? I can come your way!

        Re: Factory parts

        If it was me you're talking about, I apologize for sounding like I was bashing D&E. I was not. If I offended Scott or anyone at D&E they have a 100% sincere apology. I do stand by the idea they need to say something, even if it is just acknowledging that Harry is out and they are in.

        However I had a valid point that nobody knows which side of the fence they're on, and I personally agree that they need to make some immediate, loud, clear statements.

        Hank is of course right in that they need time to sort everything out. We can't expect them to make any big claims, strut guarantees, etc... way too soon for that. BUT, it would help them immensely even just to say "We've been sent in by Mr. Patrick to clean up what is obviously a big mess, Harry is no longer involved in the day to day operations or the decision making, and we'll get back to you as soon as we've sorted some of this mess out"

        One more time, my apologies to Scott and the D&E people if they misunderstood the intent of my words.

          I have talked freely with Mr. Patrick & Steve Cooner for years.
          When they are ready they will say what they have to say. According to them Harry was back in the shop "working" today , that is good I like to see work .

          The water is still rising across the road in he Mahoning River , hope I do not ahve build an Ark!

                Wow! I never thought I would start a 3+ page thread.
                Obviously, I hope the factory turns it self around to support our wonderful aircraft.

                Just like our ALPA contract at work........ Are we going to get what we want? I'm NOT holding my breath!

                  Ohhhh..... Well, somehow that doesn't inspire a whole lot of good thoughts, but it's long past time for me to lay low on this subject.

                    Re: Factory parts

                    Bill;
                    You and I have had our disagreements regarding the factory. I've often argued for a wait and see (give them time) point of view. Now with adults taking over the factory, I think it's time to be firm...

                    "The factory has one more chance to get it right. Take this opportunity to get to the bottom of everything. Harry Ingrams credibility is shot, blown, and gone for good. People on this board represent your most probable clients and customers. Find out what went wrong and tell us what you plan to do about it. THEN do it. Your final opportunity is here. DON'T BLOW IT. Be honest, forthright, and let the chips fall where they may. It's your only chance and it really is no longer a choice!"

                    The sub-prime mortgage mess is a good example of lost trust. We've seen the same with airlines, American automobile manufacturers, tobacco, penny stocks, and Savings and Loans. Once great companies have been stood up and shot for less than Harry's foolishness. I strongly suggest you not follow down this dismal and shameful road. The fatal path of sugar coating everything to death is a blatant mistake. Do the right thing and soon.

                    With regards;
                    ED OBRIEN

                      They know that! I wonder if the fellow from OK was one of ones that tried to buy Taylorcraft a while back.
                      Anyone is welcome to do that at any time ( buy Taylorcraft) , then they can explain what they will do to rectify the situation.

                          same home town , contacted me and tried to get the info to buy the factory ... e-mail me direct some time. Use your Foundation number in the message header. I did not spent your money, the prior owners got me for about $5- $7,000. I did not advise anybody to pay up front. I learned.
