  • Does anyone have the performance limitations for a 1946 BC12D-85

    Looking for some info on performance limitations for 1946 BC12D-85.
    V speeds, take off distances, 50 ft obstacle ect. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

    The only published speed is the VNE, you can look at the type certificate data sheet but you wont find all of the speeds like you will on a Cessna 150. I had a friend watch my distance when I took off at lake hood strip this summer in 250' and could clear a 50' obsticle in about 350', but I was real light, 6 gallons of gas and just me, no baggage. Its also about 20' above sea level. Get a GPS and fly on a calm day to get your own speeds, that is the only way to get what your airplane is doing. Each aircraft has its own characteristics. Tim
