To All Who Installed Skylights,

Since you know longer have the factory headliner, what do you do about
separating the aft fuselage from the cabin area?

See photos of Rob Lee's solution to closing out the aft fuselage in the G-BREY photos of the UK website.
Essentially it is a sheet metal close-out panel from the baggage sling and sloping back to an upper cross tube. Side walls are fabric covered. You might have to figure out a different means to fasten the sheet metal in place unless you are doing a complete re-cover.

Doc and I are unabashedly copying this elegant solution on another Tcraft rebuild with a skyight.

An alternate solution is to stretch 50 yards of color-coordinated duct tape across the aft cabin opening

We plan on covering our rear interior with fabric similar to Rob's restoration or like the j-3s

As you can see from the picture, I have nothing in the rear as a headliner and its been that way for 25 years, next time I think I'll use fabric. I have plywood on the sides and the rear.

We had a ship with no interior , made up some real nice Royalite ( could have been plywood) then used a heavy vinyl window shade , pulled up and down for access. CAA & FAA never addressed the interior only taht "fireproof" stuff should be used.
