My engine book is at the hanger, will get it and look up what is max on the A-65, the C 85 should be about the same. I want to say .020 but not sure.

Dan- are you talking forward and aft slop or rotational slop?

Flying is easy- to go up you pull back, to go down you pull back a little farther.

The A 65 manual say max 0.015 and most likly the c85 is simmilar.
You can measure it with dial indicator or a vernier if you have a fixed point on the cowling. A strong magnet in the inside and a steel block on the outside in a suitable possition and measure in between the block and the propp.
