hey guys....went out to montague island today, cape clear, patton bay AND box point....lots of wrecked aircraft out there....getting there was the worry for me..but upon arrival, its allllll good!
but, what kind of slop should in movement in my crankshaft? grabbed my prop today and was alarmed at the movement with that long arm? all movement is inside the case....arghhh
The A 65 manual say max 0.015 and most likly the c85 is simmilar.
You can measure it with dial indicator or a vernier if you have a fixed point on the cowling. A strong magnet in the inside and a steel block on the outside in a suitable possition and measure in between the block and the propp.
