    Very nhice looking floors guys. But nobody answered the question...Which was original? Wood or metal? Mine is 46 BC-12D

            Both are original- depends on what material the factory had at the time. Most of the pre wars were wood and most of the post wars were aluminum but I've seen original wood and metal floors.

              I have a set of metal flooring for my '46 ship, and it has that metallic blue paint that I have found everywhere else, and was told that it was original Taylorcraft paint, so I am assuming my floor is original. But we all know what assuming always does to us....
