    Re: Question about wingspars

I'm an Aero Engineer working for NASA and have SEVERAL different copies of Bruhn. My earliest copy is from the 30s and has great stuff on rigging wood and wire biplanes as well as a whole chapter on wood for aircraft structures. The latest one has spacecraft design info. I use the new one at work and the oldest at home. It is a GREAT book, if a little technical. For our uses watch for one of the 1940s or 1950s versions.
Hate to say it but I paid under $10 for the last one I bought (an old one). Most engineers don't think the old ones are worth having. Everyone at NASA isn't a rocket scientist.
