Anything we here AT THE TAYLORCRAFT FOUNDATION can do to bolster the applicability situation , I am here , have been here and will be here!

If you recall I visited Univair way back in Nov , 06 . I thought the strut Part# situation ( ie A-A815, A-A854? ) had been cleared up back then I left you all the Parts & Price list copy with strut numbers.

THAT Part# is good on all Models "A" thru latest "F-22" , talked with
the FAA engineer Andy McAnaul in the beginning back in July he said the ball was in your court then.
I have been under the opinion that if a customer orders by Part# A-A815, A-A854 , and your "equivalent" is UA-A815 then we bolt her on.....it is a bit clearer now. thanks Forrest Barber

I have been watching the discussion about struts and I have to wonder why anyone would want to support that thief Harry Ingram when you have other options. My BC12-D had both rear struts and one front replaced with Univair so I ordered the other front strut from Univair. Their service was excellent and communication via email was as well.

I sent an email to Harry and told him that in place of the $6,000 he stole from me in Octtober 2004, he could send me a set of struts and we could call it even. Waiting for a reply.

I wouldn't give him any $ until you have the product in hand.

I must admit, I've concerned, He has my money, struts were susposed to be done during the 1st week of October, then the excuse was that they used the wrong filler rod on them and had to re-make, ?? meanwhile I complied with the request and sent my money? Ya, I'm very concerned.

Well if you paid with a credit card and they do not deliver the goods, a simple call to the credit card company to disupute the charge for non-delivery will solve the problem and you get your money back. In a few situations, I fortunately used my credit card for purchases where I had to do this. I got my money back each time.

If you paid by cash or check, you are in a tough situation.

Well, I"m in a tough situation, just hope for the best, should have known better, Whats really wild is that Harry has before him the chance to
both "heal himself financially" and heal some of his past reputation. Its hard to believe that he would muff this, hopefully it will work out, if this goes south, it was financial suicide for the factory and Mr Ingram

Well??? thats kinda my impression also. Believe me, there are those who will be checking into this deal this comming week to find out just what the heck is going on. I would say more but need to wait, and find out what turns up, I'm still hopeful that this nightmare will work out.

Mike Sellers sent me a nice email and said that Univair has lowered their price on struts and that they were going back to the AD date and issue a credit to anyone that bought struts after that date. I would sure give them a call if you need to buy struts.

Would this be a credit toward purchase of Univair Struts if one had previously
ordered from Taylorcraft Factory?? gezzzzz that would be nice of em
wonder how much? This next week will be an interesting week in Texas, I'm crossing fingers, and hopeing that all will maybe workout, if not, then other
steps will be taken, thanks for the post and tip

I don't know any other way to say this, but it takes a special kind of idiot to botch this. You basically create an environment where people almost HAVE to but items from you, but oops..guess what you forgot! Oh yeah.....make the items! "Well, if we can't ship right away.... and competitors can..I know what to do! Raise our prices! That'll have them beating down our door!"

Maybe, with torches and pitchforks.

It'd be funny if too many people weren't already out the money.

Or are they still not allowed to manufacture anything? Do they have to buy their struts and resell them?
