Knowing Rob wouldn't tell anybody, I thought it was up to me to do. Here he is with the Concourse d'Excellence trophy at the Solent Aviation Association Fly-In at Popham today.

I have known today a magnificent intoxication. I have learnt how it feels to be a bird. I have flown. Yes I have flown. I am still astonished at it, still deeply moved. — Le Figaro, 1908

Re: G-BREY and her trophy.....
Thanks all...
The chap on the right is my flying buddy John; as a 1/3 owner, he paid 1/3 of the rebuild cost, and as chief welder, bead-blaster and riveter, deserves the award as equally as I.
The Solent Aviation Association have been good to us both, so I offer them my thanks for the award.
