Was just checking thru the Service Difficulty website and of all things I see, a BC12-D Taylorcraft with a Continental IO-550N engine, WOW, can I see the weight and balance for that aircraft and maybe a picture of the fuel tanks????

Here's the link.
A search of FAA records indicates the N numbered Taylorcraft actually has an A-65.
Ironically (?), the owner lives in Brownsville, TX.

The problem with the FAA records is they are not accurate. I have a TCraft with an 0-200 and a Stinson with an 0-470 and they are listed as having an A75 and a Franklin 165 respectively.

There has been a LYC 180 HP, BC12D with standard wings. OUR very own Leisa Marie with 180 hp ( actually a bit more!) Clipped wing. We were going to do a turbine ship like the Luscombe never got around to it.
I did taxi the twin engine BC12D, she had two Nelson's on her. The Model 18 ( Korean War ) of course had the Lyc 0-290 which ran as a diesel . We even sketched up a Gyroplane with a Tcraft fuselage. Oh well it is still warm here in Allaince, getting ready for a nice week-end , going to a lot of stuff I am printing, copying, sorting and getting ready for the projects suggested by this group. Many of us will go off the discussion group and develop this inspection stuff and then publish very quickly on the net and the NEW newsletter if Steve is agreeable.
