  • Anyone flying a Matco tailwheel?

I could very much use your supporting docs for a field approval!

    Thanks

It will be hard to get, I dont think that Matco has any TSO's for thier stuff, If they do I have not seen it. If there is no TSO, then you probabley will not get a field approval. I am up to a Scott 3200 and considering putting on the Gar Aero big tail wheel conversion. The smaller ones did not hold up for me, I wound up rebuilding them every year. good luck Tim

Re: Anyone flying a Matco tailwheel?

I'm flying an old B limited to 1100lbs by the TDCS so the 6" pneumatic Matco is just the right size, and I think I've read here on this forum that others may by flying the same tailwheel.

As I have a November reg. plane in Europe things are a little funny with the FSDO, but I'm working with a co-operative IA and just need the confirmation of someone else's field approval.

        Thanks
