Hello, I'm trying to finish up all the little sheet metal parts, and it looks as though I might be missing some floor board parts. I have the original aluminum floor boards that run up to the rudder pedals,(see picture). Is there suppose to be some joggled pieces that continue forward, over the rudder pedal torque tubes, to the fire wall?

    Thanks, Bob

Were the original floor boards wood or aluminium? I was intending to replace my aluminium ones with heavier, but I think nicer, wood.

My original factory floor boards were aluminum. They were from Ser # 8772, which was a post war '46.
My next question, is there suppose to be a "board" that goes from the floor boards up to the seat, where the seat sling board attaches? And if so, how is it attached at the top?

            Bobdog,

Here is a pic from my 1938 B. Not sure if yours is the same. Mike C.

Yes, the bracket the wood former that holds the front seat sling has two tabs turned out with holes in them. That is for sheetmetal screws to hold the vertical panel at the top.

Thanks Mike, and you too Mike! Now that I see a picture, it's really simple.
