      I didn't have very good luck with them. I ordered new felt seals..took them 2 weeks to ship, and when I got them, they were WAY too thick ,the O.D. was too big.

        Bob: I hate showing how little I know but what are the felt seals for? I don't recall seeing any on my brakes or wheels, other then the tailwheel. Thought I would ask to see if I'm missing a part.

          The seals help keep dirt out of the bearings. They are sandwiched between the bearing cone and the thin metal cup that stops the bearings from falling out when you take the wheel off. They are listed in the Taylorcraft parts manual as 6CP35 for the inner one, and 6CP34 for the outer one. I lucked out, as my wife had some nice felt in her sewing supplies!
