  • 72CK42 Wood prop performance

    Hello all,

I wanted to get feedback from those who are using the 72CK42 wood prop on their '46 BC12D. How is your climb performance (FPM), cruise speed, etc? I am considering purchaisng one for my BC12D. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Brian

no you would not loose baggage. weight difference around 10 pounds. Metal props good for about 10 mph over wood. Wood prop will indicate about 95 mph.

N44305 indicates 88-90 @ 2200RPM. No VSI, but climb performance is good when it's cool, fair when it's hot.
