Well the winter was hard on my Microair 760 radio, It was intermittant to Xmit/receive. I sent it out to Austrailia, in about a week and a half they called me and asked what was wrong. I told them about it not Xmit/receiving and the lady put me through to the tech that was going to repair it. I got a quote for about $190.00 USD and it just came in the mail today. I am pleased with the service of Microair and can recommend thier products. Tim

Re: Radio back from Repair
Tim.
How long did you have the radio before it started to act up? I was going to put my hand held Icon in the plane but the Microair would be neater. I just don't want to spend the money and then have to send it out for repairs, did they tell you why it was acting up? The Icom worked great when I had it in my 150.
Thanks

Re: Radio back from Repair
Actually the problem was my PTT switch which I didnt figure out until last night, so I now have an overhauled radio and a spare handheld now. I bought the radio in 1999, so its been 8 years. I can recommend the radio, I am using unshielded ignition and the squelch get rid of the noise. Its worth the money. Good luck TimN29787
