  • Lateral movement of Rob Lees fuselage jigs?

We see the two stands Rob built to support his fuselage at

If one were to put casters under the stands, would there be enough rigidity to move the stands and fuselage laterally?

My fuselage is in a commercial storage containor and I'd like to be able to roll it out for painting and grinding so I'm not doing those tasks in a confined area. -

Yes, Mike, I had them on castors, makes it very manoeuverable, with no loss of stability.

I converted mine to three legs with two legs almost straight across from each other, close to the letter T. I did this to make it easier to walk around the end as one leg on each base points at the other under the fuslage/wing. No tripping on the odd leg sticking out from the project. However this arrangement would not be condusive to rolling around.
