Do these CD's or drawings exist ANYWHERE for the BC/BF/BL series?

Re: Ideas about building the L2

As stated above the L-2 (all models) and TG-6 (Glider) drawings are available on the Taylorcraft website. There are 1808 drawings at 1 to 2 Megs each so it would take a herculean effort to download all of them.

The Taylorcraft website also tells where to get the 4 CD set of drawings which I will post here. Please note the cost is 25.00 dollars and 20.00 dollars of that goes to the Taylorcraft Foundation.

          From the Taylorcraft foundation website.....
The L-2 and TG-6 blueprints are now available here for your use. The Drawings have been scanned in and are split into 4 sets, or CD-Roms.
For the "B" series owners, common parts do exist between these models, recommend you browse the blueprints also.

If anyone would like a copy of these drawings in a 4 CD set they are still available for $25.00 where $20.00 will go to the Taylorcraft Foundation and $5.00 will be used to cover shipping and material costs.

Send check or money order to:

          Ron Greene
          40336 Calle Medusa
          Temecula, CA 92591

I now pay the Taylorcraft Foundation there 20.00 dollars per set via PayPal, so I will accept PayPal for orders at [email protected]

There are a few mixed in with the L-2 stuff, but not many

                Tribe;
I don't think it's going to cost millions to get the Pima AirMuseum material. Instead, it's going to take a cogent and progressive business plan that garners their interest, meets with their approval, and offers them a pay-off in the end. What we are looking at the is a classic mom and pop consolidation effort from a riviting plan... Growth to proceed in an orderly manner with a visionary business person picking up the pieces and parts of the L2 hardware and licensing over a steady and ongoing period. A 5 year plan with substanial possibilty for reward, meaning a ton of leg work and some date certain finanacing should do it. It can and should be done using classic boot-strapping entrepenuial practices. If you're looking for a business model think 7-11 Stores from the '60s/'70s, how the Southland Corporation changed the places we bought gas and quick groceries. Think about how much more they charged for those items yet by offering convenience, consolidated Mom and Pop Grocery stores throughout the world.

In this case -- you're not offering convenience but a tried and true -- real airplane -- for the LSA market and as the price point leader. Kind of 7-11 meets Wal-Mart, if you get my marketers drift.

Re: Ideas about building the L2

The BC12D AND the L2 need to be "improved" and offered as an experimental
At least some variation there of ala Legends CUB or Cub Crafters Cub as they did with the Cub EXCEPT KIT FORM experimental or LSA 0-200 powered.....

PARTS PARTS PARTS...coupled with love for the brand throw in a few million and produce ........ sigh oh well reality sets in again

When I get the Baby Ace finished (its all covered , and all painted...ready to put back together with a ton of new partsand engine)...then its take a short break and then go back on the clip or I may just get that rough L2 been thiniking hard about and do it..... Taylorcrafts are never that far away.......
L2s do offer a bunch of fun ....they really do need an 85 though
