Anybody else having trouble getting the headliner in? I'd like to buy or borrow a used Airtex headliner, just for a pattern. The 5 holes drilled in the square tube at the top of each window on my BC12-D are different on each side. Somewhere there's one I can look at or written instructions. I have the D-window, and the big problem I see is how to do a fit and finish so that it looks nice and blends in with the Airtex baggage sling behind the seat. Yep, the next time I fly this little demon to Alliance, I want it to be presentable.
Next question. The tach sang an awful cacophonic song and vibrated yesterday, and the needle went haywire, so I removed it. It has no name that I can see. To whom do I send it for repair? If no one has a better idea, then to Keystone in Lockhaven. The cable is ok except the fitting on the engine end is starting to crack where it was brazed. So where to get a cable for a spare? The end going into the drive on the rear case has a little teatlike flange on it and it seems to me the tractor supply places have those if anyone can give me a steer in the right direction. Thanks and always glad to talk to the C. Gilbert Taylor crowds who fly on angel's sides of clouds.
