  • L2m Covering Question

I would appreciate any input on working the fabric around the leading edge spoilers (Spoilers) Forming the fabric around? Cutting? Or simply glue them on top of the fabric

    Re: L2m Covering Question

The fabric must be glued down in the box to allow the spoilers to sit correctly on top of the wing. The easiest thing to do is to glue the spoiler boxes down before shrinking the rest of the wing.

Thanks for the replay Mike. That I do understand but My confusion is about the spoilers that are glued on the leading edge.

No the spoilers have 3 small hinges with 2 screws each in them. The hinges should be welded to the spoilers.

            Re: L2m Covering Question

Mike he's talking about the leading egde spoiler and not the "M"/glider spoilers. Dick L glue them on after the wing is covered and cover them with a stripf tape ( 2 inch I think)

Ahh, I thought I answered that question in a previous post somewhere though.
