-6,-9 starter

I have a tech question. What is the difference between a -6 ,and a -9? I know the -9 is for a electrial starter. I have enough parts for a conversion, but my starter is spring driven with a cable. I also have a battery powered starter. these parts have been in storage for 35/40 yrs so memory is short. thanks, jim.

Not sure what a -6 is. The -9 starter should look like a baby E-80 and I have only seen one in 20 years. I sold all my -9 parts on ebay last year. Had everyting but the starter.
