  • Latest Factory Website News

    Here's the latest news from the factory website (www.taylorcraft.com). My critique
    follows:

    TAYLORCRAFT.COM

    WILL BE OFFLINE FOR SOFTWARE UPGRADES

    AND SITE REVISION

    AND WILL COME BACK ONLINE

    SOON

    The Taylorcraft.Com website IS offline -- not as stated, "will be offline." One only wonders if the rest of this message is true or untrue, too.
    With regards;
    ED OBRIEN

    The .com site has been offline for sometime now. Where and when did you get any new information?

      Tom;
      When I put in www.taylorcraft.com the message I reported came up on my computer. I am certain you can do the same. Check it for yourself. What do you get? What do you think?

        Ed,
        Yes, I see that when I click on your last thread but not using the previous one! I had not seen the message before but it is the same info that Diana gave me a week or so before the ffactory was locked down. thanks

          I think Dr. McCoy on Star Trek said it best.

            Regarding the posted website message:
            TAYLORCRAFT.COM WILL BE OFFLINE FOR SOFTWARE UPGRADES AND SITE REVISIONS AND WILL COME BACK ONLINE SOON

            It just seems to me that with all the Factory lying and back channel talk, here at the website. The last message to be heard from the Factory remains less than truthful
            too. Too bad. Thanks ED OBRIEN

                  Tribe;
                  I, for one, can hardly wait for the Factory Website's software upgrades. AND, those site revisions could be stunning.

                  When I was a kid I used to look at the test pattern on TV before the station started programming. I'd stare at the test pattern for several minutes at a time waiting for Capt. Kangaroo to start. If you remember this old black and white TV broadcast pattern had an Indian in a headress. I could stare hard enough to think that the old chief winked at me. In this case not seeing was believing but staring and hoping was believing. I'm hoping for the same from the Taylorcraft.com website. Maybe there is a secret code buried inside this cryptic message. A code that will unlock
                  a factory full of promised planes! Please dial up the website and everybody stare as hard as you can and wish!
                  Memories and humor come with my regards;
                  ED OBRIEN

                          OK Kids,
                          For me, it was "Kukla Fran and Olie"

                          (5th paragraph down)

                          BTW, my mother went to school with "Buffalo Bob".

                            Childhood memories? It could have been "Ding Dong School", or Romper Room, I doubt it was Howdy Doody or Mickey Mouse as both of those were afternoon shows. In Tulsa OK. in the 50's the Bob Mills Show came on before the old Today Show with Dave Garroway.

                            Interesting that these memories are atleast 10 years younger and newer than the planes we fly. For some of us we're flying in planes old enough to be our fathers and for some our grandfathers. With regards; ED OBRIEN

                              For me it was Flash Gordon, to be followed by Sky King when it started. (I wanted to fly ever since I saw an airplane). Here is one for you, what aviation movie had the greatest effect on you guys? For me it was THE HIGH AND THE MIGHTY. I bought the CD as soon as it came out. Sabrina
