  • L2 Leadin edge spoilers

I came to a point to decide if the leading edge spoilers go on top of the fabric or installed before covering. Also do not have details for the exact location on the leading edge. Trying to take advantage of the Florida's dry weather for covering wile working the last details. Any input would be welcome.(;f

If you are referring to the triangle piece of wood about 10 inches long on the leading edge it goes on before cover.

Yes but I can't post them until later tonight or tommorrow. I will need to go to the shop and measure.

          Nick,

For proper size of spoiler strip refer to D-8046

For spanwise placement refer to D-(A)8268
Your can get it pretty darn close. Make both sides equal measurement.

For vertical placement on nose radius refer to D-L831
Enlarge the drawng to full size and hold the template against the wing leading edge

All of the drawings are available on the website.

Remember that the spoiler strip is intended to rumble the root end of the ailerone to advise of an impending stall... No rocket science here...
