    Greg,

Search the archives for this information and you will find several suggestions on how others have rebuilt the valve. Might save you some time. Good luck!
    Cheers,

Fuel Valve restorations are simple and require only common dental hygiene implements (toothbrush, toothpaste, and dental floss...no kidding) A brief description of Imperial valve rebuild with some photos, click here Go about half way down the page and click on the "Imperial Fuel Valves" link.

              Bob,
Thanks alot for the cleaning info on the Imperial fuel valve! I've called several places in Anchorage, Cubcrafters, Aircraft Spruce, Wagaero and it was finally a guy @ Univair that gave me Forrest Barber's phone number in Ohio. Forrest referred me to this great site and I never would have thought that fixing something on my BC-12D would be cheaper than going to the dentist! It's in the 40's today on the Kenai Peninsula, so I'll be cleaning, lapping, lubeing and packing.
              Thanks alot,
              Jeff

Tucker recommends you add lick to the sequence too. Maybe sniff as well.
