While you're there, pick up a cheap digital camera...

I went out with a young lady for a while who was from Morehead Ky, & spent a few weeks there in my youth pursuing her, but 'twas not to be......< sigh >

I'll see what I can do Rob but are you going to hop across the pond to teach my dumb ass how to use it? LOL.
Sorry about the lady in from Morehead......I've had a couple of Morehead girls disappoint me too....but it was fun.

        Mike,

There are some measurements and adjustments you make on the ground before you test fly it to "fine tune" things. Usually involves making measurements from a location at each wing or wing tip back to a location on the tail; you make course adjustments until you reach symetrical arrangement. Also involves using a bubble level and maybe a protractor to set wing angle. Remember back in the day their tools did not require batteries... This is usually discussed in publications involving servicing or homebuilding, I would add this to my list of topics to sit down and discuss next time you go to Alliance, or you have a face to face with one of the pro's here on the forum.

I have even tried typing the link in the window and it still won't take. Rob,maybe you can help. Anyway, all the new Crispy Pics are in the gallery........ Kevin,

Wonderful looking ship!! I hope to get to see it a Alliance this (my first) year if not before. Maybe in my next life I'll have the skill, time and space to rebuild a classic.

Hey there Norm. Yes that's the magnetic Robart fuel gauge. I have done all the work myself.....with help from my father. Lightning didn't do too much of the damage...it was the fire caused by the lightning, lol. It was setting parked on the tie down.Dad said the tail tiedown stake had a metal bullring attached to it and it had bounced over aginst the tailwheel spring acting as a lightning rod. It welded the bullring to the tailwheel spring....had to use a hammer to get it loose.
