  • Lift Strut Attach Fittings

    Hello Gang. I'm assembling my wings, and need to know if there is suppose to be a spacer between the lift strut attach brackets, (See attachment)

    Yes, there is a little piece of tubing that goes in there. Can send a picture later in teh week or week end if that helps. Dave

      My wings don't have a spacer in there. They look just like your photo.

        I just reassembled my wings and they have a phenolite (sp?) spacer in between the strut fittings that the wire passes through.

          Spacer is correct of course , that whole thing helps on negative loads when taxiing same as the little wire at the tip bow between the spars. Sorry I did not answer you directly but have been out for two days..... I still get about 30-40 messages a day.

            Mine are just short pieces of tubing, what should they be?

            Never seen the wire at the tip bow either, do I really need it?

              ser# ?? I think it does a good job. spacers can be tubing or phenolics,
