This has nothing to do with like or dislike of their airplane. I love ALL airplanes, I have merely pointed out many times in the past; 7 years of the Taylorcraft Foundation 34 years of the Taylorcraft Owners Club & , 70 years of the TAYLORCRAFT in Alliance & I was informed by C.G. Taylor hisself that he did not like that term!
The same way Howard Hughes hated the term "Spruce Goose". The way I hate Xmas vs. Christmas is another one! I know that the owners love their "Tcarts" ( there I typed it out, brrrrr) :grumpy: That is my two cents worth.

Does anybody know what the "Jumbo Jet for Jesus" is all about ??? I doubt that the owner likes that term . It is based here at CAK.

I can vouch for the performance of a T-Craft on Baumann 1500's. I have flown mine with both 1320's and now the Baumann's....I love them...Nuff said. PM me if you want details.

I don't rely on my ASI on final, I check it every once in a while, but for the most part, I'm concentrating on my touchdown point, and "feeling" the balance between the ailerons, and rudder. That tells me more about what the plane is doing than anything else. Any of you Alaska pilots slip one with the Micro VG's? How much do they change the "feel"?:clue?::

Why yes.... it's the cargo 747 that takes all the money that the BS TV evangelists get people to send them, and flies the crates of cash down to their banks in the Cayman Islands. They had a DC-3 but it couldn't carry enough.

Went up to a few thousand yesterday and tried some full right rudder left slips at really low speeds (indicated) with a little power in and with none.
I see what you mean Dusty. Sure hangs on well.
There is always something new to add to your skills.
I did notice that when I came back after my playing session that my landing seemed, well, a little more finessed than normal.
