Meningitis

Posted here because I didn't think the "Humour, rant & raves" forum was appropriate...


Not a situation I would wish upon my worst enemy...yesterday (Monday) the 16-year-old daughter of one of our company directors died of meningitis. She was fine just last Thursday.

It's the third occasion in perhaps the last 6 years when I have known directly of school-age children (all girls) succumb to this. I don't have children myself, but would hope that any parents out there make themselves aware of the symptoms.
