I'm indebted to everyone who helped me with Case mags and parts when I needed to replace my distributor discs. I now have about a half-dozen spare Case mags to cannibalize for parts, so please feel free to contact me if you need Case parts too.
I found an original 1947 Case aircraft magnetos operator's manual at one of the Fly-Mart used book sellers at Oshkosh this summer. It's only eight pages, but explains timing, inspection, and adjustments with clear photos. This slim volume was worth its weight in gold for educating my mechanic who'd never handled such antique mags.
Scans of the cover and a sample page are attached as thumbnails. I'll send pdf files to the Foundation to post the entire manual on the website. In the meantime, if anyone else would like clean first-generation photocopies, just mail me a self-addressed stamped envelope and I'll send you a set for free:

It's the least I can do for any of you other purists who stubbornly continue to fly with Case mags...
