At first I didn't know why the shotgun, then I saw the size of the fish! You guys have to SHOOT them up there! What does the pan you fry that baby in look like?

The shotgun is hopefully never needed...there was a brown bear sow with three 2 year-old cubs, that had recently put the rush on a guide and his party. Three differerent times in this same location, she came at them and then stopped short when they held their ground. The gun just makes good sense...it's available and we also carry a handgun. The main thing is to keep your eyes open and be aware of your surroundings. And make some noise.

Nice pics, Dick! Looks like fun!

I tried my luck on the Chuit the other day, but only caught a couple trout.

Vincent, that comment put a grin on the face of "my 'Trophy Wife' of 40 years"! Dick

                      Dick,
I guess some of us just got lucky....married into the right gene pool or something. I've joked for years that I didn't need to get a new young bride because I married my trophy wife the first time.
This is my better half of nearly 30 years in the back seat of a Quicksilver GT500......so she not only looks good, she's also brave (poor quality picture, but I took it with my cell phone). She's never hesitated to climb into anything I wanted to fly.
You and I should count our blessings!
