    My experience has been that vented tubes don't rust and sealed ones do.

    I think because nothing ever gets truly sealed.

        That page 2 is the best part right from the typewriter of Dorothy Feris and input from the DMIR, DER, Chief Engineer, shop General Manager and a whole lot of experience. Then the FAA posted it too....

          Thank you! This kind of thing is (in my opinion) the intended purpose of a forum such as this. We owners of these old airplanes need support. If the factory has the resources, great. But not likely to be counted on for years and years. Therefore, the forum members should support each other. Thanks Forrest and Robert for making this available.
