  • T-Craft Fuselage Fabric

I'm trying to find out how much fabric I need to cover the fuselage of a bc12d, anyone have any idea where I can get the specs for that? or at least an estimate?

The Ceconite and Polyfiber manuals have table that show how much fabric that is needed by aircraft type. They can be bought from any of the catalog companies.

With the 70" wide fabric you can cover with 2 times the length of the fuse. Tom

Poly-fiber manual says 11 yds. to do the fuselage only.

          Re: T-Craft Fuselage Fabric

I just received the materials to do my fuselage and tail feathers on my Swick-T from Aircraft Tech Support and I'm using the poly fiber system. The cost was arround $1400 not including the finish color since I'm not sure if I will use ploy tone or aerothane. I elected to use a pre sewn envelope for the fuselage and do the tail feathers with the blanket method. I was very pleased with the service form Jim and Dondi Miller at Aircraft Tech Support.

Jim and Dondi are the best. I would order whatever they say it takes. The fabric is the cheap part.
