Oil on the nose cowl

Hello Gang, Need some advice. I put my 1941 bc65 on skis recently. I taped the lower air intake as instructed. Yesterday after a 3 hr ride I noticed a little oil around the nose where my prop shaft comes through the cowl. Any ideas where this oil is coming from. I looked around the best I could and came up empty handed. Thank you.

Have you checked the crankshaft front seal?
