  • A new restoration

My T-cart stays outside in the elements. Sad to say that I found rust in the tail feathers. Looks like it was either sell her or do a ground up on her. Been thinking about it for a good long time. Decided that I like her toooooo much to sell her. As soon as I find a place under roof to start the teardown the work will commence.

I've been in the background just reading threads. Looks like I'll be posting more than my share of questions to the wealth of knowledge here.

Hope to have her back in the air REAL soon better than new !

Jerry: a good plan. It's exactly the same thought process I went through.

In my opinion, it is good to start with an airworthy aeroplane...then at least you know all the parts are there.

Ask away, we will do our best to help. Don't be embarrassed about asking or think your questions are silly at all; we all have to learn from somewhere.

Have a butchers at my restoration site here. It took me 4 1/2 years part time work, and she flew again this Wednesday just past.

It's a great feeling, and worth the expense and effort.

Congrats on the flight of your restored T. I'll have to take a good look at your site. There's a lot of information there to look at.

      Beautiful job !
