I understand how it fits, Chris, but how is it cut out? Can it be done "by hand" or is it necessary to get it punched out by some phantasmogorical CNC puncher?
It was all done by hand. A cleco is lined up, and each hole was drilled. The one shown is still cleco'd to the master! A lot of work to say the least. I have 3 good ones right now, and a few old ratty ones for pattern and installation reference.
The sky-lites had frames that were them screwed to the aluminum.

There are many versions, long windows , short windows , trapazoids , very small side windows heck the first Model A has that type...
I will shoot pictures of the F-21 or 22 from the factory . they can be retroed to any B or F-19. Use tint, remember that Lexan does not like car gas.
Can a skyligths be installed with out recovering the fuselage?
Or shall I bite bullet and do the fuselage on the same time?
Grey or black would be nice I use to fly a Fleet Canuck with a greenhouse, it was HOT in the summer but nice in the winter.
What thickness shall the plexyglass be?
Metal skin on the belly, how far back does it go and what thickness is used?
