  • Sensenich metal prop 48" pitch

Does anyone use a Sensenich 48" pitch metal prop on a 65hp model? And what cruise speed do you see?

(edited to add it's a 74" dia prop, thanks, Forrest)

Ask them the length too! maybe 74 ; 74-48 ; too big, slow static. A 72-48 is for the C-85. lets compare ground speed calm air not the indicated airspeed. there was an old topic on topica about all this if anyone saved it...... cheers.

      48 pitch prop

I sure could use a 48 or 46 pitch prop for my
85 hp. I flew it yesterday for the first time after complete
restoration except i still need to install the headliner
and get new seats made. I am using a borrowed prop
      now.

        Sensinich propeller

I have not flown my bird yet but we did a good runupp check with a 74 - 45 Mc Caculy and hade 2050 rpm on mech. tach and 2070 on a electrontonic tach. Minimum according to my understanding is 1950 rpm with a 74" propp.

Prop for sale in good shape

I have a McCauley 1B906946 propellor for sale. It has approx 300TT on it, and is in really good shape. Will part with it for $900.00. It is 69" long and 46 pitch. It would be perfect for someone who wants to bolt it on to a 85 hp.
