              Forest,
Are drawings available for the welded up wheel pant mounting hardware?

                Re: Wheel Pants/Fairings

I totally agree! I am saying that the average Tcraft owners does not want to spend the $750.00 for the pants with brackets. I have a lot of pants from other ships in the barn I get $200.00 per pair .... Got them from Jim Bede when he ahd the airports next to us..

Forrest, do you know if Harbor Ultralight went out of business? I have tries for two days to find current contact info and can't.

                      Mike,

I ran into the same thing. Unless Harbor Ultralights is trying to hide from us on purpose, I have a feeling they are not around anymore. Let us know if you find anything.
                      Cheers,
                      Marty

Attached drawings of the wheel pants mounts for folks who'd like to make their own. Mount #1 shows the right side part. The left side is the same except the 1 1/2 x 1 7/8 "U" flange is welded on the other side of the 6 hole part.

Yes those are the 2670-3 & -4 shown on the F-19 Parts & Price list. page 14. the reinforcements shown below on that page are merely blind nuts on two plates to aid in the install. A Taylorcraft Foundation member is having them shipped to him from here tomorrow.
He will duplicate on a CNC machine & they will be available to owners from him or here in Alliance . For the owner to fabricate, he will merely have to weld the tabs in place. Use the drawing or e-mail me direct to be on the list for ours to be ready in about two weeks. Tomorrow I will list pants available and sources. Harbor Ultralites may indeed be gone!

I have another source for quality fiberglass stuff. I need to track their phone number down again and give them a call. The made some stuff on a F-24 I am working on I swore was metal. I will see if they are interested in making some.
