Well, this guy is in no hurry to sell, so he has no incentive to drop his price. All I can present is what I see as a logical reason on how to price his plane. Who know what emotional bond exists between him and his Tcraft (that's a biggie) - Mike

My question is this: is the fabric going to last for a few years, even if it's ugly, so you can have an opportunity to fly it for a while before you have to do anything? You said the engine is run out. Same question: can you fly it X number of hours without trouble? Have you flown it? I would want to see oil temp/pressure/consumption if it's high time. We have a guy here with over 3K since major and going strong.

Ed - that's why I keep coming back to this a/c. I believe there is some flying time in her before I start cleaning her up bit by bit. However, before I get my A&P to do a compression check and borescope the engine, I'd like the seller to get close to the figure I have in mind. - Mike

I've been thinking my offering strategy. I've been immediately replying to ads I've seen. Of course they aren't ready to negotiate! I'm an initial offer! Perhaps I should put the ad aside for calling in several weeks; ask how's it going and if it hasn't sold, suggest a price. - Mike
