Posting pictures

I have a digital camera now. Apparently I need to reduce the file size to submit pictures. How is that done? One program works for e mail but even then the file size is not under 8K.

Lloyd, tou need an imaging editing program. Most cameras come with some basic software on a cd to do this, but for better results you might consider purchasing imaging editing software such as PaintShop Pro or Adobe Photo shop.

Go to a photo store and ask their advice, they might have a demo available.

I see the picture is by my name now. Did you do that or did it finally just show up on it's on!!? It doesn't look as good as the original file so I would like to work with it a little. Let me know if I could send a different file to your e-mail address or what I should do differently myself. Thanks

Thanks Robert. I have my avatar now. Found Photo Shop on my computer and will be able to use it for another 28 days then get
to decide if I want to buy it.

Paint Shop Pro Recommendation

I have been using Paint Shop Pro for several years, and several versions now and it is hard to beat. I have tried other photo/paint programs and always gone back to PSP. They have a free trial offer at their web site http://jasc.com/ All of my web site pictures have been edited with PSP. Good stuff, good support, and a reasonable price.
