Hello Everybody!
Hello Forrest---long time no see. I have been down here in North Carolina for the past 9 years. For those of you that don't know me, I used to live in Alliance and was hangered at Barber Airport and installed the first "real bathroom" on the field. I have been working on a 1946 BC12D for the past few years and have numerous questions that I'm sure you all can answer. I first need to figure out if I'm doing this computer thing correctly for asking questions to the forum. If I'm in the wrong spot, please advise! Looking forward to "talking" with you, Dan ( Forrest used to call me little Dan---I'll let him explain that one to you---but not on the forum!

Wow when I saw Dan Carlson pop up on the new guy list , I thought immediately there can't be another one.... ( Little Dan , Pig Sex, Saloon nights, crazy days & nights.) Good to hear from you, I deleted older files on Jan 1, 2006 & have nothing about your project.
Dan I want you to e-mail me direct too! [email protected] You started this Taylorcraft thing a while back lets make your project into a nice ship....Give me N number, ser# & description of what you are doing, phone numbers and addresses too!
Guys this is a very dynamic good guy. Dan brought the Barber Airport into the new era with indoor plumbing and the shower that we use at the fly-ins. Dan you must visit again and see the other improvements.. Both being Type A+ we used to argue, spit and cuss but no biting or hitting that I recall Use the site for overall stuff, I will check your membership in the Foundation this afternoon and make you ONE if not and make you current for all the help you gave us in the past... Hows your honey that you left Ohio to be close too.?

Hi Forrest!
I thought you would get a kick out of seeing my name on the list--or drop your head into your hands and wonder "Why me"? Anyway, I had to take a break from this project a while back to recover from a couple of spinal surgeries. But i'm back at it now. My body is about half worn out but I'm still half nuts, so everything is OK. The airplane is N95263 and serial# 9663. I will email you later with all my updated personal info. As far as the "honey" I left Ohio for-------well you guessed it-----she left! It was either that pig squeal that I used to do or maybe it was a case of "Little Dan Syndrone" that made her go. Oh well, talk to you soon!
