    Anyone want to take my Maule SFS-P8A tundra tailwheel in partial trade for a Lang or Heath? It has only been on my plane for 2 years/75 hours. I'll throw in a spare inner tube. As you can see from my photo there, it gives your ship that rugged, high-clearance, off-road look.

      This question is basically a personal preference. I've used Maule's, Scott's, heath's, but my favorite is the Lang. It's like driving a sports car compared to a dump truck. Tom

        The steering/castoring mechanism is completely different between the 2.

        A working Scott 3-24B (2000) is a fine tailwheel, it's just that the design leads to wear on the fork and the arm assembly, which are the 2 most expensive parts...
