  • The Light Comes On

I posted a message several weeks ago about a rough running A-65, got alot of good responses and finally found a bad lead on a cylinder that I didn't suspect. Had one cylinder that the plugs were blacker then the rest so I tried to make that the bad one and didn't check the others. A one track mind is a terrible thing.
Next Question: Any members out there feel like making a set of front lift struts for a DC-65 or know where I can purchase a set.

    Thanks, marc

Mark, I have a NOS lift strut for my DC-65 that I will put on probably next spring to replace a welded one. If you are still needing one then get in touch.

A friend of mine just got a set made by Univair I believe. He says that they do not advertise them, but they will mke them up on order. About $2,000. He has an L-2, and I am assuming that those struts are the same as a model D

Thanks for the reply Chet. I hate to be dense but I'm drawing a blank on "NOS" lift strut.

NOS (New Old Stock) implies unused and in original condition, but not of recent construction. A good source of parts, generally.
