Adding URL's (links to other sites, particularly Gallery)
I would love to let you know what I think if I could find the damn gallery!!!!
I am very interested in the landing light brackets. My mod 19 ain't got no landing light and I would dearly love to add one. However, I'm not sure about the paperwork or what would need to be done. I already have the switch, breaker and wiring in place.
Best Regards

There might be an easier way to get there, but the way I get to the gallery with my little analog brain is to type 'Taylorcraft Foundation' into my browser, when you click on the search result up will pop the Foundation page with the first two links being: one to this forum, and the other to the gallery. Howard
Why not type www.taylorcraft.org then when it comes up, either put in your favorite or put it on your desk top.
My simple way of doing it. Also as Howard said, once the page comes up, ou only have two choices. First being the forum and the second being the gallery.
Many thanks for the info. I got it to work!!! You've got to remember that I went thru 5 keyboards before I found out that "Strike any Key To Continue"
didn't involve a hammer!!!!!

I'll try to get some more of us along with my fathers 1948 C-170 project(this is the bird I learned to fly in). I'm also rebuilding a wrecked 1993 MXT-7-180 Maule for a fellow that figured out what the boys at Dodge trucks meant when they say "ram tough",he hit his own dodge truck while taking off from his private field.
Lee the landing light and light retainer is standard 12 volt Cessna like used in the wings of 150's,170's,early 172's etc. The lens covers are made from plexiglass that we made by heating in an oven over a wooden mold. It will be a neat, flush fit. The mounting assembly shown in the pictures are of our own design. Also if you look closely you'll see that the leading edge joint sections do not over lap at a rib like original, they instead butt up flush to each other between the ribs with a lap joint on the back side to fasten them together. It's actually a stranger, cleaner fit with no seam to show through the fabric.
Just looked at the pictures, They look great! Looks like you have the ideal set up. Airport, aircraft, hanger, an IA life just dont get much better. Wish I could convince my better half to let me have a set up like yours.
Thanks for the compliments Mike and everyone. Yeah Ryan loves that Charger almost as much as I love Crispy.
My wife may not always completely agree about the perfect set up but she is very supportive and knows that at least it keeps me around the house more often this way.
I just added a few more pictures of more current projects and a couple of airplanes I'll have for sell after the first of the year. I also rearranged the photos so that all of Crispy come first, then more airplanes, then family and friends.
Also please check out the RV-4 and the Cessna 170B and if you see anyone looking for one pass the word. I'll get some current pictures of the C-170 in a few days.
Lee,
Smurf is a different bird that I sold back in the spring. I still have the Huckleberry(the red&white one)when and if ya decide you what it. I'm not trying to advertize it. I have so much in it that I plan to save it until someone wants a custom job or I get caught up enough to work on it in my spare time and then I'll just use it as a sport trainer.
If you want, just bring me the Duck and we'll convert it or ya. We can even plan a couple weeks(+/-)and you can just stay here and help me do it. Of course if we try to do a rush job like that we want to make sure all our ducks are in a row before we start(pardon the punn).
Well, now I've done it! I did exactly as you directed and a message came up on the screen that said "MISSILES LAUNCHED". And now, I've got 3 MD 80's holding over Kingfisher NDB and another on short final to my driveway!!!!!
Seriously, Bob, many thanks
Opps-forgot-Hey Kevin, those photos are great-Nice looking family.
